Whenever i shop around different places I'm often pleased with the customer services. However there are also few cases where the sales person totally piss me off so i thought of sharing it here.
1) You walk into the boutique, the person approaches you and ask you how can he/she help you. When you tell her "Thank you for your assistance but I'm just browsing." And guess what. The sales person would trail you along where you go and see what you're doing. You know how irritating that is? Its the same logic as when you're in the changing room and some random person is in there watching you. (Its exaggerated but its what some people would feel *i'm one of them. lol) Its like whut? am i plotting a thievery its like comeon just gimme some personal space will ya?
2) Inexperienced customer handling. This is the most fucked up part and you'll experience it in many places selling techies stuff. Why? cause it makes you wanna walk off and not patronize them no more. So here's the thing. Lets say you walk in to ABC Stuffs and you wanna buy a product say, an iTouch 2g. Being a total idiot to IT. You asked the sales person about the specs and guess whats their reply? "Its here what! There you see! All here. Take a look at it."
Goddamnit, if the customers are smart enough they wouldn't be asking you in the first place. If they are smart enough we don't even need to employ people like you to sell these products where machines could do better jobs. I mean, for christ sake, whats so difficult explaining simple stuff? Are you that lazy?
This is what i've observed on how customers are treated around in Singapore and i would say its a very disappointing sight to see in such a 1st world country. Prove me wrong, even Malaysia have better customer service. Thumbs up for them. Singapore, work on it or suck on it!
